Combining science, art, and culture, students will explore every aspect of the sacred Yamuna River. The workshop includes a digital slide show about river ecosystems and aquifers, a practical demonstration of how pollution affects river systems, and some possible solutions. We will sing traditional kirtanas about Yamuna ji and learn about Her ideal nature. Using a variety of recycled and new art materials, students will build their own Yamuna river ecosystem model, creatively applying the elements of design in their own unique way.
